Steve Bernier scored twice as the Canucks earned a shootout win over the Ducks on Friday.

Our View:Bernier has played relatively well skating with the Sedin Twins. He could approach the 25-goal mark this season.

Steve Bernier scored his second goal of the season on Friday night in the Canucks 5-2 loss to the Sabres.

Our View:Bernier is being asked to skate with the Sedin twins and to provide the line with some grit, something the Swedish brothers have rarely been said to possess. Give him some time to gel with the duo, but we could see Bernier scoring 25 goals this season with a little luck.

Steve Bernier will play on the same line as twins Daniel and Henrik Sedin this coming season according to the Vancouver Sun. "One of the key focuses for us was to get a player we felt would complement them," Vancouver GM Mike Gillis said. "We actively went out and got Steve (Bernier) because we feel he could be a complementary player for them. So that's an indication what I think of them."

Our View:The rugged winger tallied 16 goals and 16 assists last season between Buffalo and San Jose. If he can establish a good chemistry with his new linemates, he should see a sharp increase in production and become a solid fantasy contributor.
