November 10, 2009 Dennis Wideman notched a pair of assists in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Penguins and was plus-two on the day. Our View:The offensive-minded defenseman has struggled this season, so it was nice to see him put up a multi-point effort. He hadn't recorded a point since the third game of the season and his two assists doubled his point total for the year. |

The solid blueliner will skate on his own over the weekend, with hope of playing in Wednesday's home game against the Predators. |
