Player Notes
November 9, 2008
Ryane Clowe had a power-play goal and an assist for the Sharks on Sunday night as Dan Boyle also added a goal on the power-play in the Sharks' loss to the Coyotes, 4-2.

Our View:Clowe has scored nine times in his last 11 games as one of the hottest goal scorers in the NHL. With so many weapons to focus on with the Sharks, Clowe often faces team's second and third defensive units and as a result he is often too much for the opponent to handle.
November 7, 2008
Ryane Clowe scored two third period goals before scoring the shotout game-winner as the Sharks emerged victorious, 5-4 over the Blues. Clowe has now lit the lamp eight times in his last eight games.

Our View:Clowe was held goalless in the first six games of the season before engaging in this huge streak of goal scoring. With his toughness and ability to go into the high traffic areas, he can be a force to handle for any defenseman and is a potential 30-goal, 100-PIM option on the wing.
October 25, 2008
Ryane Clowe had a solid all-around game for San Jose in their 3-0 win over the Lightning. He scored a power-play goal and also racked up eight PIM, including five for fighting.

Our View:Can't ask for too much more than filling up the stat sheet like that. In nine games this year, Clowe has six points, with three goals and three helpers.
