Colorado Avalanche coach Tony Granato said that the team needs to see more production out of forward Wojtek Wolski, according to the Denver Post. "He's got great hands, great speed, great shot; and we need him to score some goals," Granato remarked.

Our View:Wolski does have eight assists in 15 games this season, but just one goal. He hasn't scored since the first game of the season, but he has the ability to put home at least 20 this season, so expect him to get going sometime in the near future.

Wojtek Wolski scored two goals and had an assist for the Avalanche on Sunday night. Joe Sakic also added three assists.

Our View:Wolski is being counted on to be a big part of the Av's offense this season after averaging 20 goals in his first two NHL seasons. He may not break out, but he should reasonably be counted on for something like 25 goals and possibly 60 points.

According to the AP, The colorado Avalanche re-signed forward Wojtek Wolski to a two-year contract on Wednesday.

Our View:The organization still desperately hopes that Sakic will return. Wolski, who followed up a 22 goal rookie season with 18 scores last year, will be entering his third season looking to take the next step after averaging 49 points the past two years.
