Derek Roy netted two goals in the Sabres' 3-2 win over the Bruins on Tuesday night.

Our View:Roy now has scored six goals and has nine assists. His 14 points makes him a solid fantasy option.

Our View:Roy's (-7) rating has hurt his fantasy stock a bit, but he's still owned in nearly all leagues due to the fact that he's a fairly consistent scorer.

Derek Roy scored an overtime goal to put the Sabres ahead of the Wild 4-3 on Thursday night. He also had an assist and a plus-2 rating on the night.

Our View:It was Roy's first goal of the season after netting 32 last season. He should pick up the pace going forward.

Derek Roy looks to build upon his solid 2007 campaign in which he notched 32 goals and 49 assists, according to the Buffalo News. He said, "If you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse and I really believe that. That’s what I live by and how I try to improve. Your game is always a work in progress. You’re never perfect."

Our View:He missed four games last season and battled a shoulder injury, but believes he is fully healthy heading into the new season. He has improved statistically in each of his first four seasons in the NHL, and could challenge 100 points in 2008.

Derek Roy was forced out of Tuesday's game with five minutes remaining due to an apparent leg injury, according to the AP. The good news was that Roy extended his points streak to six games by scoring two goals. Let's hope the injury won't keep him out for long.

Derek Roy put three pucks on the right sticks in the Sabres’ 7-4, come-from-behind victory over the Tampa Bay Lightening, touting three assists, all to LW Thomas Vanek, all in the third period. Roy is another talented young skater making a rise for the Sabres, a group that has led a wonderfully entertaining resurgence this season and is looking forward to becoming a force of reckoning moving forward. Roy will be a big part of that effort and tonight’s performance shows why.

Derek Roy missed practice Tuesday due to the flu, but he's expected to play Wednesday night, according to the Buffalo News. "Yesterday was a turn for the worse but I woke up today feeling much better," Roy said Wednesday morning. It appears safe to keep Roy in your lineups tonight.
