Brent Burns returned to the ice on Thursday night after missing the past four games because of an upper body injury, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:The Wild's overall play will obviously improve with the return to the lineup of their most complete defender. Activate him immediately and look for the points to start to flow from what figures to be the Wild's top scoring defensemen.

Brent Burns is back following his bout with an upper-body injury, according to the Star Tribune. Coach Jacques Lemaire said, "Burns is a guy that has a lot of life. Every time he steps on the ice, he shows it. He's excited to play, excited to be part of the team and all that. And the thing is, he shows it. He's yelling, and he's having fun. He's special a little bit in that regard."

Our View:He is a solid fantasy defenseman when healthy, and is worth penciling back into fantasy lineups for Thursday's outing against the Coyotes.
