Our View:Cote is the Flyers enforcer and has racked up 41 PIM in only 11 games.

Defenseman Riley Cote may suit up for the Flyers on Saturday, as he is eligible to come off the team's injured list, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Our View:Cote will add PIM to fantasy owners, as he has 41 in 11 games this year, but has no goals or assists, so those in need of penalty minutes may want to look at him.

Riley Cote (neck) is hopeful of being able to rejoin his mates on the ice on Tuesday against the Islanders, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer. Ossi Vaaanen (finger) also hopes to return for that matchup.

Our View:Cote is a PIM machine while Ossi adds depth the to team's blue line. Neither is a top shelf play, but they are worthy of consideration for a spot on many fantasy rosters.

According to the AP, the Philadelphia Flyers re-signed forward Riley Cote to a 3-year undisclosed deal.

Our View:Cote played in 70 games for the Flyers last year. He managed to rack up 202 PIM to go along with his four points.

Despite earlier reports, Riley Cote will begin the third round as a healthy scratch, according to the South Jersey Courier Post.

Our View:The Flyers will go with a fourth line of Jim Dowd, Patrick Thoresen and Sami Kapanen. Look for Cote to be inserted if the series gets rough, or if the Flyers need a spark.
May 5, 2008
Riley Cote may return to the lineup in the third round to help the Flyers combat the presence of the Penguins George Laroque, according to the South Jersey Courier Post.

Our View:Cote is nothing more than a thug with zero offensive upside with only four points in 70 games on the year. Still, if the rough stuff gets going, Cote will likely be up for it given his 202 PIM on the season.
