March 5, 2008 Ales Kotalik scored the lone goal for the Sabres on Wednesday night in their 3-1 loss to the Caps. The Sabres have now gone 2-4-1 in their last seven games. The goal was the 20th of the year for Kotalik, the second time in three seasons that he has reached that plateau. |

Kotalik was a 25 goal scorer two years ago before falling off to just 16 last year in 66 games.
