November 29, 2008
Scott Clemmensen stopped 31-of-34 shots on Saturday in a 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Our View:Clemmensen's Martin Brodeur impression hasn't been bad this season, as he has gone 4-3 with a goals-allowed-average around 2.50 in seven starts and eight total games.
November 26, 2008
Scott Clemmensen is slated to make his sixth start between the pipes tonight against the Panthers, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:Clemmensen has won three straight starts, but allowed nine goals over the span.
November 23, 2008
Scott Clemmensen improved to 3-2 as he allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Devils 7-3 thrashing of the Lightning.

Our View:Clemmensen has been battling Kevin Weekes for starts, and given the consistency Scott has shown allowing more than three goals just once in six appearances, he might be pulling slightly ahead of Weekes for time between the pipes in New Jersey.
November 14, 2008
Scott Clemmensen took the loss on Friday in his second start of the season. He stopped 24-of-26 shots.

Our View:Clemmensen doesn't have much fantasy value, as Kevin Weekes will likely see the majority of the playing time for the Devils until Martin Brodeur can return.

Scott Clemmensen will get his second start of the season on Friday night, according to a report in The Star Ledger.

Our View:While the HC Brent Sutter didn't make this statement, fellow goalie Kevin Weekes told the gathered throng that Clemmensen would be between the pipes. Sutter hasn't been pleased with the efforts of Weekes of late, so Clemmensen could gain some traction with a strong effort tonight.
November 9, 2008
Scott Clemmensen, making his first start of the season, stopped 26 of 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Oilers.

Our View:Clemmensen and Kevin Weekes will be huge for the Devils until Martin Brodeur is able to make it back onto the ice in about three or four months. Clemmensen doesn't figure to pick up many starts, though if you are desperate you can hope he gets hot and the Devils ride the hot hand.
November 3, 2008
The New Jersey Devils recalled goaltender Scott Clemmensen from Lowell of the American Hockey League prior to Monday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres, according to the AP.

Our View:Clemmensen is 4-3-1 with a 3.46 goals-against average and .895 save percentage with Lowell this season. The 31-year-old is 8-7-4 with a 2.95 GAA in 28 career NHL games.
July 11, 2008
Goalie Scott Clemmensen has left the Maple Leafs as he inked a one-year deal with the Devils, according to TSN. Terms were not disclosed.

Our View:He will hold no fantasy value next season as long as Martin Brodeur remains intact.
