November 24, 2008 Steve Ott will be on the shelf for at least a month due to a broken right hand, according to the Our View:Ott has fared well in limited action for the Stars, as he scored two goals on 12 shots, to go along with four assists over 14 games. |

October 19, 2008 Steve Ott returned to the Stars' lineup Saturday, according to the Our View:Ott took 12 shifts and logged seven minutes, 45 seconds of ice time. Ott only has one shot-on-goal, but has racked up one assist and 11 penalty minutes over three games. |

October 15, 2008 Steve Ott missed Tuesday's practice, according to the Our View:Coach Dave Tippett did not dislose the nature of the injury, but noted that he hopes it isn't serious. Ott is expected to handle a larger role this season, and is off to a good start with one assist over the first two games. He has six penalty minutes as well. |
