Alexander Frolov had two assists, one on the power-play, and was a +1 on Thursday night for the Kings.

Our View:Frolove has 11 points in 15 games giving him value as a secondary scoring option off the wing. Frolov has averaged 69 points the past two seasons, and while he may match that total this season, he just doesn't appear to have the game to take that mark to the next level.

The Los Angeles Times reports that coach Terry Murray has would like to move Alexander Frolov into a checking role. "I want him to check more. That's what I want," the Kings' new coach said Wednesday. "I want to see him match up with [Michal] Handzus playing against top lines in the league. I want to see him be a good checker. I actually spoke to him after the practice and told him this is a role that would, I think, really suit him."

Our View:Frolov has two goals on the young season but the shake up would likely slow-down his all-star rate.

Forward Alexander Frolov netted a goal in Saturday's season opener against the Sharks. He also led the team with three shots.

Our View:It was not a strong effort for the lowly Kings, but as happened often last year, Frolov still managed to help fantasy teams. He is a useful fantasy player despite his teammates.
