Pascal Dupuis has signed a 3-year deal to remain with the Penguins, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View:Dupuis could take on a more offensive role this year with the recent loss of forwards Gary Roberts and Ryan Malone, but he has only one 20-goal season in his career, so it would be wise to temper expectations.

Pascal Dupuis has been dropped from the first-line to the third, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Ryan Malone will replace him on the first-line.

Our View:Dupuis only has two goals and four assists through the playoffs, and Malone has six goals and nine assists. Pittsburgh trails Detroit 1-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals, and Coach Michel Therrien decided he needed to revamp the lines.

Pascal Dupuis was acquired by the Penguins Tuesday as part of the Hossa deal. Dupuis has 15 points in 62 games with the Thrashers this year. He's not a difference-maker but gives the Pens another solid winger on the third line.

Thrashers right winger Pascal Dupuis scored in the second period to give the Thrashers a 1-0 lead on Thursday. Dupuis registered Atlanta's only goal on a night that Roberto Luongo stopped a great shot from Tobias Enstrom and 27 others from by Atlanta player personnel. Dupuis ended a streak of eight games without a point. The winger has nine goals on the season making him irrelevant in most fantasy formats.
