Mathieu Garon was torched for five goals on 20 shots on Thursday night as the Oilers fell to the Penguins 5-4. Garon was actually pulled in the game and replaced by Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers who stopped all 14 shots he faced.

Our View:After a hot start Garon appears to be in danger of losing some substantial playing time to the other two Oilers netminders (Dwayne Roloson is also with the club). It's too early to give up on Garon, but if he doesn't get his game in gear soon he could lose substantial playing time.

Mathieu Garon was awful for Edmonton, allowing six goals on 30 shots, as the Oilers were downed by the Canucks, 6-3.

Our View:Garon has generally been solid this year, but this was a performance to forget. He's useful in fantasy leagues, unless he has too many more nights like this one.

Mathieu Garon saved 33 of the 35 shots that the Ducks threw at him on Wednesday night to pick up his second victory in two starts.

Our View:Garon has allowed just four goals in his two starts and appears well on his way to being a solid G2 in the fantasy game given the fact that wins could be fairly plentiful given the organizations ample offense.
