Samuel Pahlsson netted a rebound with 4:21 remaining in the third period leading the Anaheim Ducks to their fifth straight win by beating the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 on Tuesday night. It was Pahlsson's second game back from an abdominal injury that sidelined him for 21 games, and first goal since Dec. 10.

Samuel Pahlsson had been expected to return to game action on Friday, but he ended up being held out. He's now slated to get back on the ice to face the Red Wings on Sunday, according to the LA Times. He's missed 21 games due to an abdominal strain, so let's hope he actually gets back in the mix tomorrow.

Samuel Pahlsson will return to action on Friday, according to the LA Times. "Unless something happens, that's the plan," Pahlsson said. "I'm feeling really good." Some recent treatment on his abdominal strain has allowed him to regain full range of motion without any pain. Pahlsson's missed 20 games due to the injury.
