November 22, 2008 Jason Spezza scored his seventh goal of the year in the first period on the power play on Saturday against the Rangers. It was his second power play goal this season and eight point with the man advantage. Our View:Spezza hasn't done much scoring as of late. He had seven points in his first four games and just nine in the 16 games since. |

November 15, 2008 Jason Spezza scored his sixth goal of the year on Saturday to bring the Senators to within one with 1:33 remaining in the third period, but Ottawa couldn't crawl all the way out of the three goal hole they dug on the Long Island, falling 3-2. Our View:Spezza has 15 points in 17 games this year for the Senators and has picked it up after a slow start. |

October 27, 2008 Jason Spezza had two goals and an assist including the game winner for the Senators on Monday night. Our View:There are rumors floating out there that the club might move Spezza, but we have a hard time understanding why the club would want to move a guy who is money in the bank as a point-per-game, or better, performer (he has 12 points in nine games). |
