Andrew Raycroft is expected to start against Phoenix tonight, according to Canucks beat writer Dan Murphy.

Our View:He'll give Roberto Luongo a rest. While Luongo has gone 3-1 since returning from the Olympics, he's also allowed 3.5 goals per night through four games, and Raycroft actually boasts a better GAA this season.

Andrew Raycroft blocked 32-of-35 shots in tonight's 4-3 win at Columbus. He was named the First Star of the game.

Our View:Raycroft was not very sharp, but his teammates provided enough offensive support for him to improve his record to 6-4. His fantasy value remains limited while serving as the No. 2 netminder behind Roberto Luongo.

According to Dan Murphy on Twitter, Andrew Raycroft will start in net for the Canucks on Friday.

Our View:Roberto Luongo gets the night off due to Thursday's contest being the first of back-to-back games. Raycroft is just 5-4 on the season, but has some nice peripherals, including a 2.17 GAA and a .912 save percentage.
