Michal Rozsival, born in the Czech Republic, is more than excited to be going to Prague to play with his teammates in the NHL's initial foray into Europe for games, according to NHL.com.

Our View:When this game was scheduled there were five Czech players on the club, but Jaromir Jagr is playing in Russia, Martin Straka is playing in the Czech Extraliga league, and Marek Malik is still unsigned. Still, Rozsival and Petr Prucha will look to give the home crowd a show.

Michal Rozsival has re-signed with the Rangers, according to TSN.ca. He agreed to a four-year deal worth $20 million.

Our View:The Rangers did not want to lose the tough defenseman, as he contributed 13 goals and 25 assists (38 points) over 80 games with the Rangers in 2007-08, with 80 penalty minutes.

Michal Rozsival will need six weeks to recover after undergoing surgery to repair a left hip labral tear on Wednesday, the New York Post reports. The defenseman is due to be a free agent this summer.

Our View:The operation may allow the Rangers or another club to get Rozsival at a discount, even though he's coming off a solid campaign.
