Scott Gomez will likely be held out of the Rangers game on Tuesday because of his injured ribs, this according to the NY Post. As a result, the Rangers will have to juggle their lines with added ice-time probably being giving to Petr Prucha. Prucha first lost power-play time this year, then ice time in all areas after his offense dried up, so he won't be able to replace the scoring that Gomez brings to the table. Regardless, a solid stretch of play here from Prucha might gain him more ice-time when Gomez returns heading into the playoffs.

TSN.ca reports that the New York post suggests it's time for the Rangers to find a winger compatible with Scott Gomez , rather than finding a center who will fit with veteran Jaromir Jagr. The Rangers right winger is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason and is logically on the block. The report also suggests that Jagr would be of interest to Detroit, Dallas and Phoenix.
