According to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, Chris Mason has signed a two-year, $3.7 million deal with the Thrashers.

Our View:According to TSN, he will be Atlanta's starting goaltender in 2010-11. Playing for the Blues last season, he posted a 30-22-8 record to go along with a .913 save percentage. He could be a decent sleeper option in larger leagues next year.

The Blues and goalie Chris Mason have begun discussing a contract extension, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, Mason has publicly stated he wants to remain in St. Louis. In 61 games in 2009-10, he posted a 30-22-8 record to go along with a 2.53 goals against average.

Chris Mason rejected 27-of-28 shots in tonight's 2-1 OT win over the Blue Jackets at the Scottrade Center.

Our View:Mason allowed two or less goals in five of his last six starts, and collected five wins over the span. He needs one more victory to reach 30 for the season.
