November 24, 2008 Goalie Roberto Luongo is week-to-week after suffering from an abductor strain in his groin on Saturday, according to Our View:Week-to-week is not very specific, but the NHL no longer has to reveal many details about player injuries. Curtis Sanford will tend goal in Luongo's absence. |

November 23, 2008 Roberto Luongo's groin injury status will not be updated until Monday when the results of his MRI will be made public, according to Our View:The club hasn't been very hopeful, at least publicly, and the belief is that Luongo may have suffered a severe injury. Curtis Sanford will start in Luongo's place and he will be supported by Cory Schneider. |
