Chris Johnson, RB Wednesday 9/8, 2:29 PM CT
The Titans are not worried about limiting Chris Johnson's workload this season, according to the Oakland Tribune. "We're going to get it to him as often as possible or as often as the defense allows us to," head coach Jeff Fisher said.

Our View: Johnson led the league in carries last season, and for all we know, could very well do so again. We're not too concerned about his durability, though it couldn't hurt for Johnson owners to add Javon Ringer as a handcuff. Ringer is the only other running back on Tennessee's roster.
Kenny Britt, WR Wednesday 9/8, 8:34 AM CT
Titans head coach Jeff Fisher complimented Kenny Britt on his work at practice this week, according to the Nashville Tennessean. "Kenny has been in and working," Fisher said. "He is focused today and in the game plan and obviously hoping to contribute. He finished up strong for us at the end of the year and we need to create an environment where he can just continue to improve."

Our View: It sounds like Britt was able to find a way out of Fisher's doghouse. Still, his fantasy value is minimal at this point, especially in Tennessee's run-heavy offense.
Myron Rolle, S Monday 9/6, 9:03 AM CT
The Titans have signed Myron Rolle to their practice squad, according to the Nashville Tennessean.

Our View: Center Kevin Matthews, receiver Dominique Edison, cornerback Pete Ittersagen and linebacker Patrick Trahan were all signed as well. LeGarrette Blount may be added as well if he passes through waivers.
Stanford Keglar, LB Sunday 9/5, 3:47 PM CT
The Titans waived linebacker Stanford Keglar Sunday, according to the team's Twitter page.

Our View: Keglar was looking to latch on as a special teamer. Still, he wasn't effective enough from that spot to make the team. He won't draw much interest from other clubs.
LeGarrette Blount, RB Sunday 9/5, 3:46 PM CT
The Titans waived running back LeGarrette Blount Sunday, according to the team's Twitter page.

Our View: Looks like Blount may have to punch a time card now. He made it through Saturday, but Sunday proved to be too daunting a task. Tennessee will now move forward with only Chris Johnson and Javon Ringer at running back for now.
Chris Simms, QB Saturday 9/4, 2:03 PM CT
The Titans have released Chris Simms, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Our View: This may have been Simms' last chance in the NFL, as he's been dogged by off-the-field incidences, spats with coaches and ineffectiveness when given a chance on the field.
Alvin Pearman, RB Saturday 9/4, 1:48 PM CT
The Titans have released Alvin Pearman, according to the Tennessean.

Our View: Samkon Gado was cut as well, meaning LeGarrette Blount has won the last spot at running back. Pearman, a smaller back, could have a tough time latching on elsewhere.
Samkon Gado, RB Saturday 9/4, 1:46 PM CT
The Titans have released Samkon Gado, according to the Tennessean.

Our View: Alvin Pearman was cut as well, meaning LeGarrette Blount has won the last spot at running back. Gado's NFL career could be coming to an end.
Myron Rolle, S Saturday 9/4, 12:41 PM CT
The Titans have released Myron Rolle, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Our View: Rolle is well known for being a Rhodes Scholar. The Titans are expected to add him to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
Kenny Britt, WR Friday 9/3, 6:50 PM CT
Titans head coach Jeff Fisher warned receiver Kenny Britt through the press on Friday that he could find himself inactive on game days if he does not soon get his head on straight, according to the Nashville Tennessean. "If I suspect there's issues he is not part of the (45-man roster on game days)," Fisher said. "If his mind is clear and he is focused and is ready to play, he is potentially a really good player. But if I suspect there would be a problem, we have other receivers I'll play instead of Kenny."

Our View: Britt committed a false start penalty and dropped two passes in Tennessee's preseason finale on Thursday. He admitted to a lack of concentration afterwards. Although he could slowly regain value as the season progresses, he's not worth starting in any format right now.
Kenny Britt, WR Thursday 9/2, 10:31 PM CT
Kenny Britt was awful again Thursday, dropping two passes and earning a false start penalty in Tennessee's final preseason game, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.

Our View: The penalty was apparently the last straw, and it got Britt benched. It also earned him a stern lecture from Jeff Fisher and receivers coach Fred Graves. As talented as Britt is, he's done just about everything he can this year to assure himself a backup role.
Jason McCourty, CB Thursday 9/2, 8:53 PM CT
Jason McCourty has won the starting left cornerback job for the Titans, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.

Our View: He held off a serious push from rookie Alterraun Verner, and he'll enter the season opposite Cortland Finnegan. Still, he's raw, and he'll probably get plenty of work this year with opposing QBs throwing his way early and often.
LeGarrette Blount, RB Thursday 9/2, 2:16 PM CT
According to the Nashville Tennessean, rookie running back LeGarrette Blount is not guaranteed a roster spot.

Our View: Competing with veterans Samkon Gado and Alvin Pearman, Blount is apparently hurt by his limited pass protection skills and lack of knowledge of the playbook. That being said, expect the Titans to end up going with his upside over Gado and Pearman's experience.
