Bryan Smith, LB Tuesday 7/1, 9:08 AM CT
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Bryan Smith, the team's third-round selection to a four-year deal.

Our View:Smith will likely see time as a pass rushing specialist in a back up role. He is a bit of a sleeper and someone to keep an eye on if you are in IDP fantasy football leagues.
L.J. Smith, TE Monday 6/30, 3:09 PM CT
L.J. Smith is focused on getting his career back on track following an injury spoiled 2007 campaign that limited him to 22 receptions for 236 yards, according to PhiladelphiaEagles.com. Smith said, "I have a new hunger for the sport of football. You definitely don't have a long time to make an impact in this game and I'm thankful that I'm back here. Now it's time to get back to work and show improvement. I'm getting myself mentally and physically prepared for a grueling camp like it is every year."

Our View:Smith is going to enter training camp fully healthy, and has a good shot to re-establish himself as a solid starting fantasy tight end.
Ryan Moats, RB Friday 6/27, 2:46 PM CT
Ryan Moats may not be long for Philadelphia's roster, reports Pro Football Weekly. The former third round draft pick is currently fifth on the team's depth chart.

Our View:Moats has played all of 15 games in his three seasons in the NFL. He had a nice rookie season, averaging 5.1 yards per carry while scoring three touchdowns, but he struggled in 2006, and did not play last season due to a broken ankle.
