Freeney questionable; Sanders still sidelined for Colts Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight
Freeney was back at practice Friday after sitting the past two days with a
hamstring injury.
Freeney is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Baltimore.
Safety Bob Sanders will again sit because of ankle and knee injuries. The
reigning Defensive Player of the Year hasn't played since the second game of
the season when he sustained a high ankle sprain against Minnesota. He then
underwent an arthroscopic procedure for his knee in late September.
Dwight Freeney could miss Week 6 due to his hamstring injury, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Our View:The team previously stated that his injury should not force him to miss time, so fantasy owners in IDP leagues should wait before submitting their lineups. Freeney is not much of a tackler, but is still a solid contributor to the Colts' pass rush as he has three sacks and two forced fumbles so far.
Kelvin Hayden is visiting Dr. James Andrews in Alabama to get his opinion on his injured knee, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Our View:There is concern that the solid cornerback may need reconstructive surgery, which would be a tough loss for an already struggling Colts' defense. Tim Jennings has been covering his spot in the lineup.
