Cullen Jenkins, DE Wednesday 9/8, 12:30 PM CT
Cullen Jenkins has been dealing with a sore calf but returned to practice on Wednesday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Greg Bedard.

Our View: He should be good to go for the season opener against the Eagles. He has little to no IDP value but will help the Packers' overall defense.
Greg Jennings, WR Monday 9/6, 1:55 PM CT
Greg Jennings may return some of the Packers' punts this season, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Greg Bedard.

Our View: Tramon Williams is the other candidate. Feel free to give Jennings an ever-so-slight boost in value if your league counts points for return yardage and touchdowns.
Clay Matthews, LB Monday 9/6, 12:22 PM CT
Clay Matthews (hamstring) practiced for the Packers on Monday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Greg Bedard.

Our View: He's been out of action for much of summer with a hamstring injury, though the goal has been to have him ready by the season opener. It sounds like that goal will be met and that Matthews will be wreaking havoc for the Packers' defense.
Graham Harrell, QB Monday 9/6, 12:11 PM CT
Graham Harrell was one of eight players the Packers signed to their practice squad on Monday, according to WFRV Green Bay.

Our View: He'll serve as the team's third quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn. The other players signed were tackle Chris Campbell, linebacker Robert Francois, tackle Breno Giacomini, running back James Johnson, safety Anthony Levine, linebacker Maurice Simpkins and wide receiver Chastin West.
Anthony Toribio, DT Sunday 9/5, 1:57 PM CT
The Chiefs claimed nose tackle Anthony Toribio off waivers from the Packers Sunday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: Toribio's just a depth player for Kansas City. But that says something about him considering how weak the Chiefs are up front on defense.
Kregg Lumpkin, RB Sunday 9/5, 1:24 PM CT
The Buccaneers claimed running back Kregg Lumpkin off waivers from the Packers, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: Lumpkin won't challenge Tampa's top two backs, but he brings some assets to the table. Most notably, he's a great pass-blocking back and could knock Clifton Smith out of the third-down role with his blitz pick up ability.
Spencer Havner, LB Sunday 9/5, 1:00 PM CT
The Lions claimed tight end Spencer Havner off waivers from Green Bay, according to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post.

Our View: The Lions now have two choices. They can carry four tight ends, or they can cut one. Looks like Will Heller will be out of luck in Detroit.
Cyril Obiozor, LB Sunday 9/5, 12:56 PM CT
The Cardinals claimed outside linebacker Cyril Obiozor off waivers from the Packers, according to Adam Caplan of FOX Sports.

Our View: Obiozor registered only two tackles through five games for Green Bay a season ago. He doesn't figure to contribute much to Arizona's pass rush this season.
Kregg Lumpkin, RB Saturday 9/4, 1:26 PM CT
The Packers have released Kregg Lumpkin, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Greg Bedard.

Our View: Lumpkin has been with the Packers the past few season as a reserve halfback. We doubt many, if any, teams will be pursuing him.
Jermichael Finley, TE Wednesday 9/1, 2:11 PM CT
Packers coach Mike McCarthy has stated that Jermichael Finley will make the Pro Bowl this year as long as he stays healthy, according to USA Today's Jim Corbett. "If he stays healthy... 16 games, I'm sure you'll be sending him to Hawaii," McCarthy said.

Our View: It's nice to hear that Finley has that type of confidence from his head coach. While it's tough to draft Finley over guys like Dallas Clark or Antonio Gates, you could argue that Finley's upside trumps anybody else's at the position.
