Player Notes
Ken Hamlin, S Saturday 7/5, 7:08 PM CT
Ken Hamlin's contract negotiations with the Cowboys continue to be on-going, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Dallas wants Hamlin to remain with the club long-term, and they placed the franchise tag on him in hopes of working out a deal. A deal must be worked out by mid-July, or Hamlin will have to play under the terms of the one year franchise option.
Zach Thomas, LB Friday 7/4, 8:51 AM CT
Zach Thomas is having an impact on the Cowboys defense because of his professionalism, and he is setting an example that the younger players are looking up to, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Thomas won't be in Dallas what he was with Miami, but if he can help to improve this Cowboys defensive unit, they will be one to grab in later rounds of fantasy drafts.
Pacman Jones, CB Thursday 7/3, 12:38 PM CT
Adam Jones claims that he will stay in Dallas for the three weeks of downtime before the start of training camp, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He is said to be a regular at team headquarters.

Our View:Jones continues to do everything he can to get reinstated once he is eligible on September 1. However, his past proves that he is not the most reliable guy around.
