Quinn undergoes successful surgery on finger
Berea, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn underwent successful surgery on Wednesday to repair his broken right index finger, an injury he sustained in a November 17 game against Buffalo.

Quinn broke the tip of his finger and sustained tendon damage on his throwing hand while leading the Browns to a 29-27 victory over the Bills. He started the next week against Houston, but was inefficient in throwing for only 94 yards on 8-of-18 passing with two interceptions before being pulled in the second half of the 16-6 setback.

Player Notes
Brady Quinn, QB Wednesday 12/3, 8:29 PM CT
Brady Quinn had two pins surgically inserted into his broken right index finger on Wednesday and said he hopes to begin throwing once they are removed next month, according to the AP.

Our View:Quinn will need 10 weeks of recovery time but all signs point to him being the starter next year for the Browns.
Braylon Edwards, WR Wednesday 12/3, 12:53 PM CT
Cleveland general manager Phil Savage said that he believes this season's struggles are a fluke and that the team can be a contender in the future, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Savage is squarely on the hot seat, along with coach Romeo Crennel, so he is defending the talent on the field, which he is largely responsible for in his fourth season at the helm.
Jamal Lewis, RB Wednesday 12/3, 10:35 AM CT
The Sporting News Today reports that the Tennessee Titans have been tough on running back Jamal Lewis throughout his career, and in his last three games against the Titans, Lewis has averaged just 2.2 yards per carry.

Our View:Lewis and the Browns face off against the Titans this week, and with Ken Dorsey under center, the Browns will surely turn to Lewis. Tennessee is 12th against the run this season, and Lewis' history against the team does not necessarily bode well for fantasy owners.
