Karlos Dansby, LB Wednesday 7/2, 6:33 PM CT
Reports out of Arizona indicate Cardinals GM Rod Graves and linebacker Karlos Dansby are nearing a new long-term contract agreement, according to AZCentral.com.

Our View:Both sides have stated that they would like to get a new deal in place before the July 15th deadline in order to not only free up cap space but also keep Dansby in Arizona for the foreseeable future. If a deal can't be reached, Dansby would play out this season (with $8 million guaranteed) and then be a free agent. Reports have surfaced recently that Dansby and his agent purposed a contract that would pay him about $9 million a season, but the Cardinals obviously didn't agree with that amount.
Brandon Keith, OT Monday 6/30, 1:15 PM CT
Offensive lineman Brandon Keith, the Cardinals seventh-round pick, has plead guilty to misdemeanor rioting and interference with officials, reports the Arizona Republic.

Our View:Keith will get one year of probation on the charges, which occurred after he and two teammates got into a fight.
Anquan Boldin, WR Monday 6/30, 9:29 AM CT
Cardinals' GM Rod Graves is in contact with Anquan Boldin's agent (Drew Rosenhaus) regarding a new deal, according to the Arizona Republic. Graves would like to get a deal done, but acknowledged that a more realistic "window" is some time this fall. Graves wants to make sure the Cardinals have the cap space to deal with possible injuries in training camp and the start of the season.

Our View:Cardinals' officials remain confident that Boldin will report to camp on time and not pay the penalty in fines of $14,000 a day. Boldin is working under a contract that pays him an average of about $4 million a year.
