As expected, Jaguars guard Chris Naeole was put on the injured reserve list with a broken hand, according to the AP.

Our View:Naeole somehow injured his hand during pregame warm-ups, and it will require surgery.

Chris Naeole will undergo surgery on his broken hand, and will likely miss the remainder of the season, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Our View:He’ll likely join Maurice Williams and Vince Manuwai on injured reserve. That leaves Tutan Reyes and Uche Nwaneri as the starters for a club that struggled to run the ball against the Browns in Week 8.

Chris Naeole suffered a broken hand in Sunday warmups and will likely need surgery which will end his season, according to the Jaguars Official Website.

Our View:Naeole missed only one game due to injury in his first 11 seasons but he missed eight games last year and is now facing the possibility of another half season in 2009.

Offensive lineman Chris Naeole was limited in practice according to the Jaguar's website. Naeole was injured in Week 1 and is a key part of the Jags' offensive scheme.

Our View:He could be ready to go on Sunday and when he is, the Jags offense will benefit.

Chris Naeole has reportedly re-signed with the Jaguars, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Our View:The 11-year vet was released by Jacksonville back in March, but was brought back as their offensive line has been depleted by injuries. It remains to be seen if Naeole can still be an effective blocker.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released guard Chris Naeole, ending the veteran lineman's six-year tenure with the team, according to the Sports Network. The 33-year old Naeole spent the past six seasons of his 11-year career in Jacksonville, but missed the final eight regular season games of the 2007 season after tearing his quadriceps tendon. He could catch on with another team in a backup role.
