According to ProFootballTalk.com, the Patriots have very little interest in signing Willie McGinest. The Patriots don't feel like McGinest can play up to the level that they expect, and they will not sign him if they don't feel he can contribute on a high level.

Our View:McGinest is nearing the end of his career, and the Pats don't want to bring him in if he can't help the team. Look for McGinest to end up elsewhere, but it is doubtful he will impact any fantasy format.

Willie McGinest has stated that he would like to return to the Patriots, but the club is yet to have formal talks with him, according to the Boston Globe.

Our View:McGinest is not ready to retire and wants to serve a 16th campaign in the NFL. He could find work with a team that employs a 3-4 defense, but would likely only see action as a reserve outside linebacker.

Willie McGinest stated that he is not ready to hang up his cleats, and would like to play another campaign in the NFL, according to The Sporting News.

Our View:The 37-year-old previously stated that he would like to return to New England, but the club is yet to make him an offer. He has not garnered interest from any other NFL teams either. If he does find work, it would likely be in a reserve role.

Willie McGinest would like to return to the Patriots, according to the Providence Journal. He said, "I enjoyed my run there. Do not count me out, I might spend my last year in New England. We will see."

Our View:The Patriots need help at outside linebacker, but the 37-year-old free agent is not likely going to fill the void.

Browns general manager Phil Savage admitted to replying to an email from a fan that called him the worst GM in the NFL with a response that went, "Go root for Buffalo - f&@* you," according to Scout.com. Savage has since apologized for his actions, saying, "There had been previous e-mails from him over the months and enough was enough. We have both apologized to each other."

Our View:Savage and the Browns have endured a tough season so far, a year after going 10-6 but making the playoffs, so there is clearly frustration in Cleveland.
