Jason Taylor still was limping on his injured foot on Friday. "At this point, it isn't a game-time decision," coach Cam Cameron told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel when asked about Taylor, "but we'll see how practice goes. We also have the walkthrough." Expect Taylor to give it his best try, as he'll have a franchise-best 129 starts if he can play against the Pats.

Jason Taylor was on crutches with a boot on his foot on Monday, but the defensive end told the Miami Herald his foot was just "nicked" and that he anticipates playing in Week 16 against the Patriots.

An MRI taken on Jason Taylor's injured ankle came back negative on Monday and the defensive lineman is expected to play in Week 11, according to the Miami Herald.

Jason Taylor injured his ankle early in the second half on Sunday. Although he didn't believe it was sprained, Taylor was only able to take part in a few more plays during the remainder of the contest, according to the Miami Herald. We'll have to wait until he's examined further Monday before knowing the severity of the injury or his status for Week 11.

Jason Taylor was a surprise addition to the Dolphins injury report on Thursday. He was listed as having had limited participation in practice with a lower leg injury. According to the Miami Herald, Taylor did not speak to the media. Linebackers Zach Thomas and Channing Crowder are expected to be game time decisions on Sunday, and with defensive lineman Vonnie Holliday already ruled out, the reeling Dolphins can't afford to be without Taylor.

Jason Taylor was named AP Defensive Player of the Year Thursday, edging out Champ Bailey. Taylor rolled up 13.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, and two interceptions for touchdowns this season.

Jason Taylor said that he will consider retirement in the offseason, according to the AP. The 32-year-old Taylor is a contender for NFL defensive player of the year honors this year after registering 13.5 sacks and scoring on two interceptions.
