September 13, 2009
Jason Taylor returned to the Week 1 game against the Falcons shortly after leaving with a knee injury.

Our View:That's good news for the Dolphins defense. Taylor isn't the All-Pro stud of yesteryear, but he can still get after the QB when healthy.
September 13, 2009
Jason Taylor limped off the field in the fourth quarter of the season opener due to a right knee injury, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel tweets.

Our View:The future Hall of Fame defensive end has a sack in this game, and we'll let you know when there is more information available on his ailment.
August 21, 2009
Jason Taylor returned to the team on Friday after attending to an out-of-town family illness, according to the Twitter page of Dolphins' beat writer Edgar Thompson. Taylor is expected to be available for Saturday's preseason game.

Our View:Taylor took care of his situation, and he should be fine for tomorrow's game. A veteran like Taylor can afford to miss some time, so this short absence should have no effect on his performance.
August 20, 2009
Jason Taylor was excused from today's practice to deal with a family illness, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:Head coach Tony Sparano expects Taylor to return in time to play in the Dolphins' next preseason game against Carolina.

Jason Taylor has been impressive so far in training camp, according to the Sun-Sentinel. He has reportedly been the most dominant defensive player on the practice field.

Our View:He will turn 35 in September, but it looks like he has at least one more solid campaign left in the tank. He is worth targeting as a value pick for IDP leagues while coming off a disappointing season in Washington.
