The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports that the San Francisco 49ers want to make wideout Josh Morgan a starter next season.

Our View:Morgan had a solid rookie campaign, posting 20 catches for 319 yards and three scores. His fantasy value would obviously increase tremendously by moving into a starting spot.
December 21, 2008
Josh Morgan had two receptions for 55 yards and one score in the 49ers' 17-16 win over St. Louis in Week 16.

Our View:Morgan didn't have a catch coming into Sunday's game since Week 10 due to injury.
December 20, 2008
Josh Morgan is probable for Sunday's game against the Rams, according to the SF Chronicle. He had a brutal collision with safety Mark Roman Wednesday.

Our View:Morgan has a favorable match-up against a vulnerable Rams' secondary, but has not been a reliable option this season and should not be considered for lineups in the fantasy playoffs.
December 18, 2008
Josh Morgan did not practice on Thursday due to a collision he sustained with Mark Roman in Wednesday's practice, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:Morgan did not have a catch last week, and he remains a poor fantasy option in Week 16.
December 5, 2008
Wide receiver Josh Morgan (groin) was a full participant in practice on Friday, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:Morgan has been a nice downfield threat when healthy this season. Still, his production is too inconsistent to trust in your starting lineup.
