Davone Bess injured his thumb while making a tackle following an interception on Sunday, according to the Associated Press. He returned in the second quarter.

Our View:This doesn't bode well for the Dolphins, as it left the team with just two healthy wide receivers. They only dressed three for the game, including Bess who could be more limited in catching now that he has sustained an injury on a hand.

Davone Bess reeled in six balls for 84 yards in the Week 13 victory over St. Louis.

Our View:With Greg Camarillo lost for the season with a knee injury, Bess is becoming solid bench depth in PPR leagues. In the last two weeks, the Hawaii product has compiled 11 receptions for 171 yards.

Davone Bess is slated to replace the injured Greg Camarillo (torn ACL) in the Dolphins' starting lineup at receiver, beginning this Sunday at St. Louis, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:Bess put up great numbers at the University of Hawaii, but lacks size at 5-11, 190 pounds, and doesn't possess the speed to compensate. The rookie is only worth a look as a flier for deeper fantasy leagues.

It appears undrafted rookie receiver Davone Bess has taken over as the Dolphins primary slot reciever, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Our View:Bess seems to have earned a roster spot at a thin position in Miami.

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with Hawaii free agent receiver Davone Bess, according to USA Today. "The Dolphins realize what they had in Wes Welker, and that's what Davone can bring them. I'd be shocked if he didn't contribute right away," said Kenny Zuckerman, who represented Bess in the negotiations.

Our View:Bess saw his draft stock drop after running a 4.6 at the Combine, but he averaged 97 receptions and 1,203 yards, while scoring 41 total touchdowns during his three-year collegiate career. Bess displayed the best hands of the young receivers at the Dolphins recent mini-camp, and though a longshot to make the final roster, will compete for the slot role in training camp.
