The Washington Post reports that rookie wide receiver Malcolm Kelly is feeling the best he has felt all season. His knee responded well after a full week of work last week, and the Redskins are hopeful Kelly could soon provide the big plays they envisioned when they drafted him.

Our View:Kelly should develop into a nice starter, but that seems unlikely to happen this season. Don't be surprised to see a nice performance or two before the season's end.

The Redskins intend to get rookie Malcolm Kelly more involved over the closing weeks of the regular season, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Kelly has potential to develop into a solid starter down the line for Washington, but fell behind the curve as a rookie, while plagued by injuries, namely to his knee. He won't likely register much of a blip on the fantasy radar in the coming weeks.

Redskins rookie wideout Malcolm Kelly's knees are getting healthier, and he practiced once again on Thursday, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Kelly is still a long way from fantasy relevance, as he has played in just two games this year and has caught just one pass for six yards.

Malcolm Kelly suffered another setback in his recovery from knee problems, and the team may opt to place him on the season-ending IR, according to the Washington Post. Kelly was unable to practice today after his knee swelled again.

Our View:Kelly has missed significant practice time through training camp and the preseason, and would not likely make much of an impact this season, so fantasy owners should not mind if he lands on the IR.
October 20, 2008
Malcolm Kelly said he felt he was at 85-90 percent health Sunday, and expects to be fully healthy for Sunday's game at Detroit, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Kelly practiced fully last week for the first time in weeks, and thought he might be active. Instead, with the Redskins short of defensive backs, he was inactive. The Redskins have a favorable match-up against the Lions, but Kelly is not quite ready to take advantage and make an impact.
