The Bengals placed offensive lineman Dan Santucci on injured reserve on Sunday, the AP reports. Santucci suffered a high ankle sprain on August 11.

Our View:Santucci appeared in two games as a rookie in 2007. The Bengals must like him a little bit just to keep him around rather than reaching an injury settlement.
