Ray Rice was active for Sunday's playoff game against the Dolphins, but did not play, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:The rookie was not needed as the club pounded the Dolphins on the ground with a 1-2 punch of Willis McGahee (62 yards) and Le'Ron McClain (75 yards) in the win. Rice has been recovering from a shin contusion, and perhaps he will see some action in the divisional playoffs at Tennessee Saturday.

Ray Rice practiced fully on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday due to his shin injury, according to the Ravens Official Website.

Our View:Rice will certainly play against the Dolphins, though it remains to be seen how he will be utilized given the random usage the team has given to its backs all season.

Ray Rice expects to play in this weekend's playoff game at Miami, according to ESPN. He has been recovering from a shin contusion and said, "I think I will be out there and ready to play. It's a playoff game, and I want to be out there to help the team out. It's one and done. So obviously I can give it all for this game, whatever it takes."

Our View:The Ravens made the playoffs by featuring Willis McGahee, Le'Ron McClain and Rice at running back (along with great defense), and this is good news as they contend with a tough Dolphins' club on their home turf.

Coach John Harbaugh is hopeful running back Ray Rice will be ready to go for this weekend's playoff game at Miami, according to the Baltimore Sun. Harbaugh noted that his left shin contusion is improving, but added, "But again, I was hoping that Ray would be back last week, I was hoping that he would be back the week before. So we continue to hope that he’ll be back this week."

Our View:The Ravens made the playoffs by featuring Willis McGahee, Le'Ron McClain and Rice at running back, and the rookie will be needed against a tough Dolphins' club on their home turf.

Running back Ray Rice (calf) is inactive for the Week 17 game against the Jaguars.

Our View:Le'Ron McClain and Willis McGahee will once again carry the load. Fantasy owners should like the McClain play.
