Anthony Spencer is expected to hold a larger role with the Cowboys at outside linebacker this season with Greg Ellis on his way out, according to the Star-Telegram.

Our View:Spencer was a first-round draft pick in 2007, and head coach Wade Phillips has a lot of confidence he will be able to replace Ellis, and expects him to be a really good player. Spencer is worth targeting as a flier for IDP leagues.

Anthony Spencer has been cleared by the legal system regarding an arrest earlier in the off-season in Indianapolis for public intoxication, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones is still uncertain if Spencer will face discipline from the NFL for violating the personal conduct policy.

Cowboys linebacker Anthony Spencer was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication in Indianapolis, according to WTHR.com.

Our View:Arrested along with Spencer was his agent, Matthew Millhouse. It is unknown if this arrest will result in any disciplinary action from the NFL.

Our View:That would improve his fantasy stock, and decrease Greg Ellis' value, who would likely see a diminished role. Spencer is less dangerous as a pass rusher than Ellis, but is better in run support.
