Player Notes
December 21, 2008
Jets inactives: K Mike Nugent, QB Brett Ratliff (3rd), CB Drew Coleman, DB J.R. Reed, CB David Barrett, DB James Ihedigbo, LB Cody Spencer, WR Chansi Stuckey.

Our View:Laveranues Coles (thigh) and Jerricho Cotchery (shoulder) are active and will start. On defense, linebacker David Harris (groin), defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (hip) and linebacker Eric Barton (knee) are active and will start.

Chansi Stuckey had just one catch for three yards on Thursday.

Our View:Stuckey hasn't scored a touchdown since September, and probably isn't worth a roster spot even in deep leagues with Favre finding other targets like Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles.
September 22, 2008
Chansi Stuckey scored for the third time in three games on the young season for the Jets. He caught six passes for 42 yards in the game against the Chargers.

Our View:Stuckey caught a lot of passes late when the game was out of reach for the Jets, but tonight's effort continues an early season run of production that few if any saw coming.

Jets receiver Chansi Stuckey does not have big numbers on the season with just six total catches, but after his touchdown grab in New York's loss to the Patriots, he now has two scores on the year.

Our View:Like we mentioned, Stuckey has only six catches for 80 yards this season, but two touchdowns are two touchdowns. It's difficult to recommend him at this point for fantasy squads because he needs to be a little more involved, but definitely keep an eye on how he does in the next game or two.

Word out of New York is that Chansi Stuckey is mounting a strong case to be the third option in the Jets’ wide receiver corps, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Stuckey spent his rookie season on injured reserve, but he has impressed the coaching staff by running smooth, precise routes during mini-camps. He will compete with Brad Smith for the No. 3 role in training camp.
