Player Notes
December 29, 2008
Steve Breaston hauled in 77 receptions for 1,006 yards as the Cardinals' No. 3 receiver this season, according to the East Valley Tribune.

Our View:He reached at least 75 receptions, marking only the sixth time in NFL history that three players on the same team have reached that number (joining Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald).
December 28, 2008
Steve Breaston had five receptions for 91 yards and one touchdown in Week 17.

Our View:Breaston scored only three touchdowns this season, but he impressively gained more than 1,000 yards as the team's No. 3 wideout for much of the year.
November 23, 2008
Steve Breaston continued his success in the Cardinals' potent passing game on Sunday, making six grabs for 86 yards. He also had a carry for four yards and lost five yards on two punt returns.

Our View:Breaston continues to be a solid fantasy option as quarterback Kurt Warner is one of the best in the league at spreading around touches.
November 22, 2008
Pro Football Weekly reports that the Cardinals have given the kickoff-return duties back to Steve Breaston despite the recent success of J.J. Arrington at that position.

Our View:Breaston has emerged as a decent option as a No. 3 receiver in fantasy and an excellent No. 3 in the NFL. The additional role should only add to his value.
November 10, 2008
Despite being a third receiver on Arizona, Steve Breaston is putting up good production in the desert. On Monday night, he compiled 121 yards on seven catches.

Our View:Opposing defenses have to put a lot of attention on Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. Breaston has taken advantage of it, and is on pace for a 1,000 yard season.
