The NFL is investigating whether Ahmad Bradshaw violated the personal conduct policy, according to the NY Daily News. Bradshaw is in Virginia serving a 30-day jail sentence for violating terms of a probation stemming from an undisclosed juvenile offense, a violation that, several sources indicate, took place prior to his being drafted last year.

Our View:His family, friends, and lawyer, have said Bradshaw has not committed a new crime to violate the probation, but the NFL is keeping an eye on the situation.

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been jailed in southwest Virginia since June 15 for an undisclosed probation violation, according to USA Today. Lt. Jeannie Patrick of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail confirmed this morning that Bradshaw remains incarcerated.

Our View:Bradshaw, 22, was sentenced to two years of probation for misdemeanor petty larceny in 2006 while a student at Marshall University. He pleaded guilty to stealing a fellow student's Play Station video game from a dorm room. No other details were immediately available.

Giants' running back Ahmad Bradshaw emerged late in the season and added the lighting to the New York backfield thunder. He figures to affect the number of touches that starting tailback Brandon Jacobs receives this season.

Our View:Bradshaw showed that he was more than a third down option. His strength is his elusiveness, but the rookie also showed he could shed tacklers and run behind the bulk of the offensive line. At this point he is a deep league option that will provide owners 8-10 touches per game.

Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for a team-high 66 yards on 17 carries in Sunday's Wild Card win over Tampa Bay. He received most of his carries in the second half when Brandon Jacobs was suffering from some cramping. Bradshaw is clearly now No. 2 on the depth chart and would be the one to step in should something happen to Jacobs.
