LaRon Landry, who is recovering from a hamstring ailment, returned to practice Friday, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:He should start in Monday's battle with Pittsburgh, and is worth starting in IDP leagues, as the Steelers love to throw the ball and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is coming off a four-interception performance against the Giants.

LaRon Landry sat out practice today as a precaution regarding his ailing hamstring, but is likely to play this weekend against the Lions, according to the Washington Post. Coach Jim Zorn said, "LaRon, we just rested. His hamstring is just a little bit uneasy, but he's likely to play."

Our View:When healthy, Landry is a solid and productive performer for IDP leagues. We will keep you posted on his status heading up to game day.

Redskins safety LaRon Landry, who has been nursing a sore hamstring, will play in the team's Week 1 game against the Giants, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Landry has returned to practice, and though he will not play in the team's final exhibition contest, he expects to be ready to go against New York. Landry makes for a solid IDP player, and will be more valuable should he start picking off some passes. He had no interceptions last season.

Redskins safety LaRon Landry's hamstring injury is steadily improving, although it is still unlikely he will play in the team's exhibition game on Saturday against Carolina, according to Redskins.com.

Our View:It is possible Landry will not be ready for Week 1. He is a solid option for IDP leagues, but hamstring injuries are notorious for lingering, so keep that in mind should you draft him.

LaRon Landry will miss Saturday's exhibition game against the Jets due to his ailing hamstring, according to the Washington Post. Coach Jim Zorn said, "We're going to leave LaRon at home to continue to get treatment. We are just trying to continue to get him ready. He's starting to come around, just not quite as fast as we hoped."

Our View:He missed the first two preseason games, and his hamstring tightens when he runs full speed. Zorn still believes he will be fine for the start of the season. Hopefully he will get some work in soon, preferably in the August 23rd contest against Carolina.
