Adam Carriker has been slowed by shoulder and ankle injuries throughout the season, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Carriker said, "It's been about three years since I've missed any game time, since I've really had to deal with injuries. Not since my first couple of years at Nebraska. But it's football. As long as I'm able to get out on the field, I just do the best I can."

Our View:Carriker is a solid defensive tackle, but his injuries have limited him to only 17 tackles and no sacks this season. He is looking forward to resting in the off-season and expects to bounce back strong in 2009.

Adam Carriker was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, but indicated that his sprained left ankle is "coming along," and he expects to handle an increased workload Sunday against the Jets, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:He only participated in 28 of the Rams' 75 defensive snaps in Week 9 against Arizona, and is close to being ready for a full workload again. He is a solid defensive tackle and his presence will help slow down Thomas Jones and the Jets' ground attack.

Adam Carriker was limited in Wednesday's practice due to his ankle ailment, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:He holds no value in IDP leagues, but is a solid defensive tackle for the Rams, and Thomas Jones and the Jets' ground attack would benefit from his absence if unable to go Sunday.

Head coach Jim Haslett said that defensive tackle Adam Carriker has a 50-50 chance of playing Sunday against the Cardinals, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Our View:Carriker injured his ankle against the Cowboys and did not play in Week 8 versus the Patriots. The tackle is a good run stuffer but doesn't have any fantasy value.

Adam Carriker is improving in his recovery from a sprained left ankle, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He said, "It was all right; we'll see how it goes on Sunday. I've been getting treatment like crazy and a little bit of strengthening here and there. Just trying to let it recover and get healthy."

Our View:Coach Jim Haslett will work him out on Sunday to see where he is at, meaning he will be a game-time decision. He holds no value in IDP leagues, but is a solid NFL defensive tackle, and the Patriots' rushing attack would benefit from his absence.
