After being cut by the Colts, running back Kenton Keith stated he may be interested in going to the Canadian Football League, where he had previously had success, according to TSN.com.

Our View:Keith had two seasons of 1,000 yards rushing in the CFL, which is a much bigger deal in that league than the NFL because it is more dependent on the pass because they have just three downs on offense.

Kenton Keith has been waived by the Colts, according to the Indianapolis Star. Also waived were running back Chad Simpson, wide receivers Devin Aromashodu, Onrea Jones and Sam Giguere, defensive linemen Joe Bradley, Jeff Charleston, Dan Davis, Colin Ferrell and Ben Ishola, offensive linemen Tala Esera, Darren Marquez and Michael Toudouze, defensive backs Brannon Condren and Brandon Foster, tight end Tyrice Thompson and linebackers Victor Worsley and Kyle Shotwell.

Our View:Keith was viewed as expendable after the team brought back Dominic Rhodes and added running back Mike Hart in the draft.

Indianapolis running back Kenton Keith will only be charged with one count of criminal trespassing for refusing to leave a nightclub parking lot being cleared by police, according to ESPN. Keith will not face the charges of disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on which he was arrested early Sunday, said Matthew Symons, a spokesman for the Marion County prosecutor's office.

Our View:Last season was Keith's first with the Colts after playing in the Canadian Football League. He ran for 533 yards and scored four touchdowns, backing up Joseph Addai. In the grand scheme of things, this is a fairly minor brush with the law, but according to team sources head coach Tony Dungy will be tempted to sever ties with Keith if he's found guilty of the charges.

Indianapolis Colts running back Kenton Keith was arrested early Sunday morning outside a nightclub on Indianapolis' west side, according to Indianapolis Channel 6 News. Police said Keith, 27, was arrested outside the Cloud 9 nightclub after 3 a.m. on preliminary charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Our View:Keith played his first season with the Colts in 2007, starting one game. He rushed for 533 yards and four touchdowns. There was no immediate response from the Colts Sunday night.
