September 11, 2008 During Week 1 Andre Hall was playing with a heavy heart, as he learned before the game that his mother had passed away. Hall was given the choice of playing or missing the game. Hall chose to play and led the team with 61 rushing yards. After the game Hall traveled to Florida to be with his father and his 10 siblings. On Thursday, he returned to the Broncos to get ready for Week 2, according to the Rocky Mountain News. Our View:Even though Selvin Young is the starter in Denver, Hall made a good impression with the coaches on Monday night. Continue to monitor the number of carries Hall gets and if he gets carries near the end zone. |

August 27, 2008 Broncos running back Andre Hall is going to get regular carries in the Denver offense, and because of his penchant for finding holes in the offensive line, could be used as the goal-line back, according to Sporting News Today. Our View:Selvin Young is the starter in Denver, but everyone who plays fantasy football realizes that means little. And if Hall indeed does become the guy who runs the ball near the end zone, his fantasy stock takes a bump up. |

August 16, 2008 Running back Andre Hall rushed seven times for 24 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over the Cowboys. Most notably, Hall worked in with the first-string offense and got the call over Selvin Young at the one-yard line. Our View:Young is the clear-cut starter, but Mike Shanahan might end up using his running backs on whatever whim the veteran coach chooses. Hall appears to be the top backup and is worth a late-round handcuff. |

Hall was arrested in Pinellas County, Florida for driving with a revoked, suspended, or canceled driver’s license. In the grand scheme of things this is small time stuff, but HC Mike Shanahan can’t be happy to hear another of his players making negative headlines in the media, especially after dealing with the weekly drama of RB Travis Henry last year. |
