Assuming Mike Walker practices this week, he should be in line for a starting spot this Sunday against the Packers due to the suspension of Matt Jones and the injury to Jerry Porter.

Our View:Walker has had a couple of nice games this season, but has never been the featured receiver. The bump up the depth chart makes him a solid pickup for the playoffs in deeper leagues if you are in need of a third receiver.

Jaguars inactives: receivers Mike Walker, Troy Williamson, corner back William James, linebackers Brian Iwuh, Thomas Williams, center Drew Miller, defensive end Jeremy Mincey, and tight end Richard Angulo.

Our View:None of the inactives have any fantasy value.

Mike Walker missed practice on Friday after learning that one of his best friends was stabbed to death, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:We wish Mr. Walker and the family of the man who was killed our best in this terrible time of loss. No information is available about whether or not Walker will be available to play this weekend.

Mike Walker returned to practice and is expected to play Sunday at Detroit, according to the Florida Times-Union. He had been recovering from a knee injury.

Our View:Walker hauled in six receptions for 107 yards in his last game back on October 5 against the Steelers, and could emerge as a sleeper this weekend against the Lions' 29th ranked pass defense.

Jaguars inactives: WR Mike Walker, OG Charles Spencer, RB Chauncey Washington, C Drew Miller, CB Omare Lowe, LB Thomas Williams, DL Tony McDaniel, CB William James.

Our View:Walker is inactive due to an ongoing knee injury, but Reggie Williams (hamstring) will start.
