Mike Martz said that Jason Hill has "really made the most remarkable progress" of all his receivers, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:All of Hill's 24 catches have come since Week 8. While he gets a steady amount of targets from week to week, he has yet to justify a pickup except in the deepest leagues.

Wide receiver Jason Hill had the best game of his career on Monday night as the 49ers lost 24-29 to Arizona. He had seven catches and 84 yards, but came up just shy of the goal line in the final minute of the game.

Our View:All 10 of his catches have come in the last two games and that may be because he shares an alma mater with his new head coach. He was huge in the game's final drive and may have permanently secured the No. 3 role from the currently injured Arnaz Battle.

Wideout Jason Hill will be the team's No. 3 receiver with Arnaz Battle suffering an injury, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Our View:Hill has snared three passes for 38 yards and one touchdown in eight games, but all of those numbers came in Week 8. Even with his promotion, don't expect big numbers from him on Monday.
October 26, 2008
The 49ers have had a different receiver emerge each week, and that was no different in Week 8. Jason Hill caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

Our View:Hill didn't even have a catch this season coming into Sunday's game. He seems unlikely to help anymore this season, but with interim head coach Mike Singletary blowing things up this week, who knows.
August 21, 2008
Jason Hill caught four passes for 94 yards including a 37-yard touchdown from J.T. O'Sullivan on Thursday night against the Bears.

Our View:Hill caught only one pass as a rookie but has earned a lot of reps during OTAs. Any wide receiver in Mike Martz's offense is worth keeping an eye on.
