Craig Davis has returned to practice with the Chargers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. He has been dealing with knee tendinitis.

Our View:Davis has improved in the offseason, but won't likely be productive enough to make an impact in fantasy leagues, while fighting with Vincent Jackson, Chris Chambers and tight end Antonio Gates for quarterback Philip Rivers' attention in the aerial attack.

Craig Davis has been Phillip Rivers' favorite target so far in training camp, according to the North County Times.

Our View:According to the paper, he has been catching passes "virtually nonstop." Davis, who has been slowed by injures, has just 24 catches in two years in the NFL, but that appears like it might change in 2009. The Chargers coaching staff says it is reserving judgment on Davis' big early production, but it's an encouraging sign nonetheless. Keep an eye on him as camp progresses.

Craig Davis had two productive days in the weekend minicamp before sitting out and working on the side Sunday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. He is coming off groin surgery that ended his 2008 campaign.

Our View:The former first-round pick is yet to make an impact with the Chargers, but could surprise if healthy this season as he enters his third pro campaign.

Craig Davis has been placed on the injured reserve, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Davis has been a big disappointment after being a first-round pick in 2007. He only played in four games this season.

Chiefs inactives: QB Charlie Whitehurst (3rd), CB Cletis Gordon, DB Steve Gregory, CB DeJuan Tibble, G Kynan Forney, WR Craig Davis, FB Kris Wilson, DT Ian Scott.

Our View:The Bolts had a fairly clean injury report this week, and none of the players on this list are fantasy relevant.
