According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, receiver Robert Meachem (ankle) has practiced in full all week so far.

Our View:Meachem played in the NFC championship game, but seemed to have trouble staying in sync with Drew Brees, which was likely a result of missing so much practice time. The added work this week and next should help him get back on track and allow him to make more of an impact in the Super Bowl.

The Saints are "encouraged" by the progress Robert Meachem has made in his recovery from his ankle injury, according to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View:The deep-threat will play this Sunday, and is actually expected to be at close to 100 percent. A nice break for the Saints.

Robert Meachem (ankle) returned to limited participation in Saints practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday, according to ESPN.

Our View:He'll be good to go on Sunday. While his absence would by no means cripple New Orleans' offense, the more weapons, the merrier for Drew Brees.

Robert Meachem (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune's Jeff Duncan.

Our View:Jeremy Shockey (knee) didn't practice either, though that's been routine for him, and he's expected to play. The status of Meachem, however, isn't looking so bright, especially after the Saints activated wide receiver Adrian Arrington from their practice squad, presumably to ensure depth in case Meachem can't play.

Robert Meachem might not be able to play in Sunday's NFC Championship game after tweaking his bothersome ankle against the Cardinals last Saturday, according to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View:This would be a blow for the Saints as they go up against Minnesota's imposing defense. If Meachem can't play, however, expect Drew Brees to make do and find whoever's open, as usual.
