P.J. Pope was placed on injured reserve on Monday, according to CBS 4 Denver. He tore his hamstring in Week 16's loss to the Bills.

Our View:Selvin Young was also placed on IR making it seven Denver running backs on the list this season. Pope had six carries and 44 yards in his first start of the season.

P.J. Pope became the sixth different running back this season to start for the Broncos, but the day was short lived. He left in the first quarter with a hamstring injury, according to the AP. Pope finished the day with six carries for 44 yards.

Our View:It is uncertain how long he will be sidelined with the injury. He was having a nice game prior to suffering the strain.

Running back P.J. Pope led the Broncos with seven carries for 51 yards on Sunday as Denver fell 10-30 to Carolina. He also had three catches for 24 yards and a touchdown.

Our View:Coach Mike Shanahan throws fantasy owners for another loop. Most assumed that Tatum Bell or Selvin Young would see most of the touches.

P.J. Pope had X-rays on his sore ribs after Sunday's game, according to the Rocky Mountain News. The results aren't known.

Our View:It was surprising that Pope received just four carries despite gaining 35 yards on those toes, but perhaps now we know why that's the case. We'll let you know what the X-rays looks like.

P.J. Pope has been activated from the Broncos' practice squad, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:He will likely serve as the Broncos' No. 3 running back behind Selvin Young and Ryan Torain, with Michael Pittman and Andre Hall placed on IR. Pope won't see enough action to merit fantasy consideration.
