Linebacker Donnie Edwards has been ruled out for the Chiefs Week 12 game, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:This will be a big blow to the Chiefs defense but the veteran should be ready to return sooner than later.

Linebacker Donnie Edwards (knee) was able to return during the second quarter of the Week 10 game against the Chargers.

Our View:The Chiefs receive a rare piece of good news about their defense. Edwards played well in Week 9, and he could get some IDP love if he racks up a bunch more tackles over the next two-plus quarters.

Linebacker Donnie Edwards was shaken up in the second quarter of the Week 10 game against the Chargers. He appeared to injure his right knee. Demorrio Williams took his place.

Our View:Injuries continue to pile up on the Chiefs defense. Edwards just got back into the flow last week, but it looks like he shouldn't be on IDP roster right now.
